When the heat hits around the beach side, you may take out your swimsuit or bikinis and us women always need a good beach dress to put on top of it. As some of us don’t have a big budget to invest into those items we don’t wear all year round but sill wish to look expensive at the beach, I found these bargains that you can purchase if you’re on a budget and still look elegant at the beach.

    • The beige strapless beach dress

I am not wearing strapless dress during the year but I feel summer is the perfect time to wear those strapless clothes. I like this ZARA dress for its length with makes the look more classy while showing a bit of legs with the side slot.

    • The black tweed short sleeves beach dress

No one can never go wrong with a black dress. Well almost depending on your skin colour. I have to say that this one again is really breathable and easy to wear on top of a bikini or one piece swimsuit. To make this dress look elegant, it is definitely better to wear a bikini of the same colour or in the same tone such as dark brown to avoid a contrast that may decrease the look appearance.

Instead, if you wish to opt for a light colour bikini, wear a beach dress in a light colour it will look way more put together.

    • The matching set
Matching sets are always a good option because you can use them together or just separately which make them a good purchase. The skirt can perfectly be worn with a linen shirt or a simple fitted top if you feel the tweed top is too warm. The same is also valid for the tweed knitwear. It is really breathable and can be used for a night look with a nice fluid trouser or with a skirt.

Note that those dresses are having some transparency which reveal a bit of skin and therefore must be worn only around the pool or the beach. These are also perfect if you stay at a beach club either if it’s to dance or have a lunch there. You will always look more classy and appropriate if you are a bit covered and do not stay around in your bikini in such crowded places.

I choose mainly tweed beach dresses as they are more thick and may look more expensive but if you want something lighter you can rather opt for linen dresses in this post about linen dresses. All the dresses are in neutral colours as these may look more expensive. Lower quality fabric tends to have small default and the trick is that neutral colours are the best option because the colour hide these small details that we may see on colourful clothing. On top of that, a neutral beach dress is a must have because you can style it effortlessly with a simple pair of sandals and a nice beach bag.

Let me know what are the dresses you like to wear at the beach.
