Bikini season can be tricky as the weather tend to be warm and we just wanna stay around without much covering. However, to look elegant some elements are key when it comes to choose a bikini that will make you feel both classy and sexy.

1. Opt for a classy bikini

First thing first. The choice of the bikini is obviously the most important part if we want to look chic and avoid the “too much”. Therefore, a good bikini or either swimsuit must tick the next points to look classy:

  • Not too revealing: by wearing a bikini we already show some skin parts and there is no need to show so much skin that we end up naked. This shows a true lack of class. So stay in a covering but cute bikini.
  • Not with too much pattern: the simpler the better. Too many patterns if not made of high quality will just end up looking so much more cheap than a simple design. Opting for a simple bikini is quite the best option especially if you are on a budget.
  • Avoid fluorescent colours: Choosing the right colour is also essential. To add some class to your appearance, opting for neutral colours and avoiding the fluorescent colours will make such a big difference. Fluo tend to look cheap and too showy which doesn’t show any elegance. Being elegant is rather be seen for carrying your self with class without the need to attract the attention through visible items.

2. Opt for a flattering cut

The cut you choose for your bikini is so important. We often neglect it too much by willing to follow trends. However, we are so wrong. Opting for the cut that fits your body shape is what matters the most. There are some cuts that fit better certain body types and not others. Even more there are some cuts that show class and other that looks too revealing. Some simple triangle bikinis or one piece are a safe bet to be classy at the beach.

We often think that one piece make us feel older which is totally wrong. A one piece swimsuit is a must have to look elegant at the beach if chosen properly.

3. Add a coverup when you are out of the water

Don’t get me wrong! Walking around in a bikini is normal close to the water. However, it looks classier to add a cover up on you if you are going to get some drinks at the beach bar or going for a walk on the beach. Especially, beach cover up can be adding so much glam to a woman and make her feel like a goddess. This is the reason why you need to own a good pareo or The Perfect Beach Dress.

4. Wear a linen shirt

Linen looks amazing on top of a bikini. It’s the best way to look classy in a swimsuit as linen is such an expensive looking fabric for summer. You can definitely wear it oversize, in an open way or tighten.

5. Protect you from the sun

No need to tell you that nobody likes to get sun burn and even more it does not look classy at all. By protecting your skin from the sun, not only you won’t damage your skin but you will also look so chic with a nice smooth tan. And if you don’t tan easily you can use some good spray tan to get this gold skin. I recommend not doing like I did in the past and choosing a natural spray tan that won’t make you look orange. A good brand I like for that is Tan-Luxe. Their products give a really nice and natural tan.

6. Accessorize with a hat and sunglasses

The ultimate details to be elegant at the beach would be to wear a nice hat and pair of big sunglasses. These accessories will immediately Add Class To Your Look while being around the water.
